The Chaplaincy - Adoration

"The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge" (Proverbs 1:7).

Kaplong Girls High School is a Christian institution that takes spiritual and religious matters very seriously for the purpose of transforming lives of students to become responsible people in the society in future.

The main aim of chaplaincy office is to provide spiritual formation to general work of education as Mandela Said,

Education is a very powerful weapon to change the world

In Kaplong Girls, while the syllabus is on the emphasis on the teachers, we also work on a provision program for religious education which is very lively and active.

We have daily prayers in the morning and evening, four Holy masses per week.

During Lenten season every Friday, we have the way of the cross and on good Friday, our students attend special prayers in the church.

There is also retreat termly whereby they get to time to reflect on their life and they are encouraged on their spiritualities.

Every year, we have students being pectized. Every Sunday, we attend church, and participate in mass and in dancing and singing among many other things.

We also have society on Sunday evenings.

Finally, we thank the Principal and patrons for supporting our spiritual program.

St. Ignatius of Loyola said, "Pray so hard like if everything depend on God alone and work hard like if everything depend on you alone".
